Spring 2016 First Assignment: Design a Logo for Yourself

1) Create a blog for yourself. Bring your blog address to class this week. Use blogspot or any blog you feel comfortable with. Make sure I can comment on your posts.

2) Look at a lot of great Logo Design. Here's some to begin with:

3) Choose 25 examples that relate to the logo you want to create. Create a jpeg with those 25 logo examples. Post it on your blog.

4) Download fonts from losttype.com.

5) Make 25 logo sketches of your own logo. Try different approaches. Refer to your examples. Post your sketches on your blog. If you decide that your examples aren't what you like, get some more.

6) Make more sketches. Post all of your sketches on your blog. At least 25 different sketches, please.

7) Begin to learn Illustrator.
